He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred T. Waller and Mayme F. Waller (Jones); his daughter Teresa Waller; his siblings, Dennis Waller, Jerry Waller, Wilma Waller, Marilyn Rippy and Linda Foldenour; and his close friend Helen Leal.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Waller of Rock Falls; his son John R. Waller, Jr. of San Diego, CA; and his sisters, Gladys Riesselman of Clinton, IA, Sharon Fuchs of Brookfield and Joyce Striley (Kenneth) of Clinton, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
