He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan J. Juarez Sr. and Joanna Juarez (De Avila); his wife Hope Caudillo; his son Brian K. Caudillo; and his sister Millie Metzler.
He is survived by: his children, Johanna Wagner (Rob), James Juarez (Elizabeth), John Juarez II (Nichole G.) and Joseph Juarez (Toby); his siblings, Marvin "Tony" Juarez, Felix "Bill" Juarez, Paul Juarez (Barbara), Mary Louise Carrillo, Madeline Carrillo, Anita "Judy" Orosco, Carmen Gonzales, Suzie Guevara (Mike) and Yolanda Hernandez (Dan); and his granddaughter Madonna Caudillo. He is also survived by Several grand-children and great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to purchase a bench and plaque at the lower dam in Rock Falls.
