We bid farewell to JoAnn S. Smith (Rock Falls, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2024 at the age of 77. JoAnn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, JoAnn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that JoAnn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Terrie Jo Ratliff; her brother Gerald Saunders; and her granddaughter Nikki Jo Ratliff. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Victum of Dixon, IL, Simone Cox (Leroy Forrest) of Pineview, GA, Donna Spotts of Sterling, IL and Trent Anderson (Ashley) of Dixon, IL. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren.
There will be a gathering for family and friends at the Last Stop in Dixon IL following the services at 4:30pm all food donations can be sent there for the family.
