He is survived by: his wife Wilma Dean Long; his children, Steven Dean McPherson and Debra Dean Thompson (Tommy); his grandchildren, Dustin Dean Dudley, Danielle A. Dudley and Jared McPherson (Teresa Lopez); and his great grandchildren, Steven, Chevella, Grayson, Debra, Dean and Lilly.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home- Rock Falls (1002 12th Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice or Shriner's Hospital.
