He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Slater and Wilma Slater (Thone). He is survived by: his husband Jacob B. Tucker; his siblings, Ken Slater (Tom Jennings) of Avon, IL, Jason Slater of Cordova, IL, Jeremy Slater of Bartlett, TN and Kelli Larkin (Joe) of Rock Falls; and his pets, Lucy and Boom Boom. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
