He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Kolb and Josephine Kolb (Baker); and his siblings, Terry, Gary, Jeff, Marc Kolb, Marlys Schaffer and Jill Hayes.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Kolb of Rockford, Becky Grove (Frank) of Delavan, Wis and Kirk Sanders of Rock Falls; his sisters, Paula Deyo of Sterling and Judy Duis of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, Hailee Villa, Marcus Walton, Elexia Sanders, Brooke Boss and Conner Grove; his sister-in-law LouAnn Kolb of Rock Falls; and his friends, John, Gail, Todd, Tom and Kim Sigel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
