With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gil Williams of Rock Falls, Illinois, born in Sterling, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2022 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gil Williams to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon "Bud" Porter and Beatrice "Betty" Williams (Gilman); his wife Caroline Iversen; his sister-in-law Patricia Iversen; and his nephew Benjamin Berentes.
He is survived by: his children, Shelley McCarty (Ryan) of Rock Falls and Scott Williams (Kara) of Morrison; his sister Robyn "Sister Bird" Meinen; his niece Rebecca Anderson (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, Lauren McCarty, Gammon, Tynlee and Briley Williams.
In honor of April Parkinson's awareness month, the family has requested a casual dress in orange or Team Fox apparel. A memorial has been established.
