It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Plate of Rock Falls, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frank Plate and Susan Plate. He is survived by: his wife Bridget Burren; his daughter Jennifer Reason (Mitch Fadel) of Dallas, TX; his siblings, Karen Steger (Bill) of Bolingbrook, Susan Worthington of Riverside, IL and Phillip W. Plate of Colorado; and his nieces, Michelle Mandle (Eric) of Bolingbrook, Elizabeth Kimble (Eric) of Plainfield and Laurel Anderson (Josh) of Riverside. He is also survived by four great nieces; and one great nephew.
