He is survived by: his wife Linda Heerdt of Rock Falls; his children, Sherry Hartle (Doug) of Rock Falls, Kerrie Warren of Sterling and Steven Heerdt (Hope) of Rock Falls; his brothers, Richard Heerdt (Donna) of Rockford and Kenneth Heerdt (Lois) of Rock Falls; and his grandchildren, Kasandra Ashlin (Travis) of Dixon, Vanessa Delgado of Rock Falls, Zachary Delgado (Summer) of Sterling, Chelsea Heerdt of Sterling and Jessica Maltba (Tony). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
