He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dalton and Marvel Dalton (Rumsey); his son Franklin; and his grandson Gene Dalton III. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean McKinstry; his children, Ruth Armstrong of Sterling, Teresa Mount (Larry) of Springfield, MO and Gene Dalton Jr. (Alice) of Sterling; and his siblings, Doris Badger of Hemet, CA, Barbara Joyce Luke of Stockton, IL and Gary Dalton (Violet) of Camanche, IA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
