He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Frederick and Ardith Frederick (Klenz); and his brother Duane. He is survived by: his wife Karen Frederick of Rock Falls; his children, Michelle Fossett (Joe Grim) of Mt. Carroll, Angie Curtis (Michael) of Lebanon, MO, Cheryl Knirlberger (Thad) of Ottawa, Jerame Frederick (Bridget Oiler) of Rock Falls, Tiffany Frederick of Dubuque, IA, Jake Frederick (Haleigh) of Waukee, IA and Tearzia Oiler-Frederick of Prophetstown; and his siblings, Marvin Frederick (Carla) and Gloria Asay (Denny) of Mt. Carroll. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials have been established to the American Heart Association and the American Lung Association.
