It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Gowan of Rock Falls, Illinois, born in Walnut, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Moodie and Ella Moodie (Christensen); her husband Paul Gowan; and her sons, Larry Gowan and Marlin Gowan.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Gowan, Allan Gowan (Debbie) and Stephen Gowan (Mary); her grandchildren, Corey Gowan, Jammie Nieves (Luis), Jake Gowan (Amy), Josh Gowan (Jennie), Chris Krum (Mark) and Julie Bielema (Phil); and her siblings, Edna Olds, Evelyn Johnson and Elmer Albus Jr.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the Resthave Home in Morrison.
