Dorothy Hendryx Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hendryx (Rock Falls, Illinois), who passed away on December 14, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mortiz Arthur and Lillie Regina Zink (Haas); her husband Allen G. Hendryx; her son Michael Holbrook; her granddaughter Traci Holbrook Payne; her brothers, Eugene and Lawrence Zink; and her son-in-law Steven Shikes.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Holbrook (Nancy) of Sterling and Dea Shikes of Lakewood, CO; her daughter-in-law Dr. Jodi Holbrook of Rockford; her stepsons, Christopher Hendryx (Susan) of Destin, FL and Michael Hendryx (Juhua) of Bloomington, IN; and her siblings, Marjorie Ackermann (Dennis) of Naples, FL, Donald Zink (Viola) of Mount Carroll and Harold "Corky" Zink (Donna) of Rock Falls. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
