He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Wiemken and Ruby Wiemken (Heller); his wife Ida Mae Houpt; his children, Judy Weigel and Alan Wiemken; his brothers, Glenn and DeWayne Wiemken; his stepson Duane Schommer; his stepson-in-law Harold VanLaningham; and his great grandchildren, Peter Miller and Erica Kerley.
He is survived by: his children, Christa Hicks (Allen), Doris Crews (William), Forest Wiemken (Donna) and Howard Wiemken (Barbara); his stepdaughters, Diane VanLaninghama (Terry) and Denise Schommer (Steve Leathers); his stepdaughter-in-law Beverly Schommer; his stepsons, Darrell Schommer and Don Schommer (Amanda); and his siblings, Janet Varner and James Wiemken (Jan). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; nine great, great grandchildren.
