She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Merchant and Maude Merchant (Smith); and her stepfather William Cooley. She is survived by: her husband Lloyd; her children, Jennifer Junis (Jody) of Rock Falls, Jada Fulkerson of Rock Falls and Jordan Fulkerson (Lexis) of Englewood, FL; her mother-in-law Mary Elizabeth Fulkerson of Sterling; her grandchildren, Jakob Junis (Brianne), Noah Junis, Graci Maude Junis and Mila Fulkerson; her great grandchildren, Jones and Penelope Junis; and her siblings, Charles Merchant (Cathy), Eudelle Turner (Duane), Calliree Carney (Wendil) and Frances Louis (Wendal). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Abiding Word Church or OSF Health Care Children's Hospital in Peoria, in her memory.
