He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Mager and Phoebe Mager (Maszk); his wife Sandra; and his siblings, Arlene Linton, Arnold and Rodney Mager.
He is survived by: his son Darryl Mager Jr. (Shannen) of Rock Falls; his siblings, Bonnie Dirks of Rock Falls, Diane Martin of Sterling and Kenny Mager (Sharon) of Tampico; his grandchildren, Kelsie, River and Gavin Mager; and his great grandchildren, Alicia and Sebastian Mager.
