He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah Murnane and Ruth Murnane (Herman); and his brother Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Barbara of Morrison; his daughter Elizabeth Borden (George) of Steubenville, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Jacob, Emma and Maxamillion. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Happy Tails in Rock Falls.
