It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Blevins of Rock Falls, Illinois, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Daniel and Fannie Louisa Blevins Carl (Dean); his sons, Mark and John; his grandsons, Jesse Lee Blevins and Jason Capp; and his siblings, Jimmy and Nancy Bingham.
He is survived by: his spouse Shelby; his daughters, Sara Wright of Rock Falls, Debbie Capp (Paul) of Rock Falls, Lisa Decker (Mike) of Rock Falls, Teresa Christian (Dennis) of Rock Falls and Amy Williams (Al) of Dixon; and his siblings, Liz Dowell of Sterling, Charlotte Stern (Duane) of Rockford, William Blevins (Sandy) of Sterling and Dennis Blevins of Sterling. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Masks and social distancing requirements will be in place for a public visitation to be held on Friday May 21, 2021 from 5 to 7 p. m. at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls.
