Gill of Rock City, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Grunder and Edith Grunder (Toelke); her husband Robert Gill; her son Kim Gill; her siblings, Marie Johnson, Edith Rosenstiel, Bertha Keister, Judy Strong and Ben Grunder; and her siblings-in-law, Claude Kreger, Bill Keister, Elwood Strong, Mike Rosenstiel and Gwen Cummins.
She is survived by: her children, Marcene Sughroue of Rock Grove, Greg Gill (Connie) of Machesney Park, IL, Leroy Gill (Vickie) of Rock Grove and Matt Gill (Sarah Finch) of Rock Grove; and her siblings, Helen Schneeberger (Dick) of Davis, Dorothy Kreger of Freeport and Chuck Grunder (Deb) of Florida.
In Lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name for St. Jude's Children's hospital.
