She was predeceased by: her parents, George Holmes and Dimple Holmes (Jennings); her husband Vernon Rouland; and her siblings, Evealine Beck (Meyers), Hazel Jockish, Donald, Charles and Robert Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, James Rouland (Janet) of Glenarm and Linda Horn (James Werner) of Florida; her grandchildren, Cathleen Bergae (Steve Smith), Carrie Shoemaker (Mark), James Horn, Jr. (Audra), Jonathan Rouland and Jill Rouland (Azael Ramirez); and her siblings, Ethel Mae Meggison of Jacksonville, IL, Georgia Langdon of Springfield and Marshall Holmes (Mildred) of Jacksonville. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Staab Funeral Home - Springfield (1109 S 5th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
