It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Long of Rochester, Illinois, born in Wakefield, Michigan, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Long and Margaret Long; his son Juan Long; and his sibling-in-law Rosenda Claudio. He is survived by: his wife Isabel Long; his children, Michelle Boyd, Kathryn Montero (Jorge), Margaret and Steven, Jr.; his grandchildren, Michael Boyd and Mateo Montero; his siblings, Rosemary, Theresa Rodgers (Chris), Richard (late Gail), Kathleen Narrigan (William), Maureen, Gregory, Jane Sprenne (Erik) and Daniel; his mother-in-law Isabel Figueroa (late Benito); and his siblings-in-law, Edmundo Figueroa (Mirta), Raymundo Figueroa, Gloria Arias, Wilma Gonzalez (Doroteo), Juan Figueroa (Cecilia) and Carmen DeJesus (late David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, only 9 people will be allowed in at a time, and social distancing measures will be implemented.
Donations may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association, so that a cure may be found.
