He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hardy and Ima Jean Sloan (Groat); his son Ken McCoy; his granddaughter Heaven Jean Sloan; and his siblings, Eugene Sloan and Karen Ulinski (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Cecelia M. Sloan of Rochester; his children, Joshua Sloan (Marianné) of Bally, Matthew Sloan (Sheila) of Springfield and Jessica Robertson (Michael) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Jazmine Sloan, Jacob Monty, Samuel Monty, Demi Freytag (John Grayson), Jacob Freytag and Kyle Freytag; his great grandchildren, Kade Grayson, Kye and Kyle Freytag Jr.; and his siblings, Ron Sloan (Cheryl) and Sharon Gentry. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
