Sponsler of Rochester, Illinois, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert T. Sponsler and Mercedes E. Sutphin Sponsler. He is survived by: his wife Janice L. Anderson; his children, Andrew M. Sponsler (Erica) of Athens and Kim Van Pelt of Rochester; his grandchildren, Alex, Kendall Sponsler, Ian and Ali Van Pelt; his siblings, Tom Sponsler (Kit), George Sponsler (Mary Ann), Nancy Jameson (Brian), Raymond Sponsler (late Stella), Gail Slack (John) and Amy Sponsler; his aunt Ruth Sponsler; and his uncle Robert Sutphin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
