He was predeceased by: his brother Jim Thaxton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gentry; his children, Gary Casper (Keli), Greg Casper (Lisa), Brad Heinrich (Mary) and Kimberly Hutmacher (Ron); his grandchildren, Evan, Molly, Madison, Sophia, Nicholas, Kayla, Joe, Kendall, Kenna, Josh and Heather; his great grandchildren, Waylon, Weslyn, Walker, Bexley, Beckett, Ellis and Aria; and his sisters, Kathy Yazell and Joanne Tomizoli. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
