He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charlton and Ivagene Charlton Jr.; and his grandson Stephen Stark. He is survived by: his children, Tamah Slater (Shane), John Charlton IV (Melisa), Candice Hargett (Andrew), Catherine Charlton of Rochester, Lisa Young (Peter), Lori Ditto, Robert Stark (Llolanda) of Springfield, Kimberly Condon of Pawnee and Stephen Condon (Amy) of Pawnee; his sister Rosemary Wishon of Elgin; and his stepbrother Brad Hendrix (Debbie). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
