He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean C. Oglesby and Edith Oglesby (Frantz); and his brothers, Thomas and Robert Oglesby. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Stephanie Soltermann (Jeff) of Jacksonville, IL, Sara Oglesby of Rochester and Scott Oglesby (Krista) of Sherman; his grandchildren, Jacob, Josh, Christian, Elizabeth, Andrew, Sydney and Caleb; and his brothers, Donald of Springfield and Kenneth Oglesby of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rochester Christian Church.
