She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Amos and Cleo Florence Stewart (McMann); her husband John L. Armstrong; her siblings, Walt, Harvey, Leslie Stewart and Lura Evelyn Pallante; and her son-in-law Charles Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Nickie Armstrong (late Charles) of Sherman, Kathryn Dunne (Jim) of Inverness, FL, Max Blankenship (Deborah) of Brownwood, TX, Mike Armstrong (Kay) of Lawrence, KS, Greg Armstrong (Tela) of Riverton and Dennis Armstrong of Springfield; her close friends, Judy Black and Yvonne Nielsen; and her pet Katie Jane. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League or W.I.L.D. Canine Rescue.
