He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Sharer and Prince Williams Sharer; his wife Joyce; and his siblings, Anna Lee Ralph, Lula Saikley (Haven), Dorothy Brown (Tom), Earline Heflin (Levaughn), Malcolm Raines (Elizabeth), Wilson Sharer and Wren Sharer (Mary Ruth).
He is survived by: his nephew Richard "Sonny" Sharer; his nieces, Patsy Johnston, Joyce Lanham and Joanne LePage; his granddaughter Angela Marie Cashen; his son-in-law Michael Noel; his children, Vicki Sharer, Beth Cashen (Tom), Jennifer Noel, Steven Sharer (Angela) and Kristen Sharer; his great grandchildren, Reese, Audrey, Isabella Cashen, McKenna, Laykin, Averie Jones and Casen LeMar; and his pet Jack.
