Evelyn L. Ramsey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2023, at the age of 95, Evelyn L. Ramsey of Rochester, Illinois, born in Newmansville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred G. Evers and Edith Evers (Watkins); and her husband Raymond Ramsey of Rochester. She is survived by: her sons, David (Karen Ramsey) and Gary Ramsey (Shari Kueker) of Rochester; her brother Richard Evers (Doris) of Sycamore, Illinois; her grandchildren, Megan Ramsey of Oklahoma City, Lynnette Robertson (Ryan) of Clinton, Illinois, Nick Ramsey (Christa) of Springfield and Alex Ramsey (Brittany Burrus) of Austin, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Lucas and Tyson Ramsey of Springfield. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Rochester Historical Society or to the American Lung Association.
