He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathryn Kemplin and Willard Kemplin; and his siblings, Lyle Wheeler and Shirley Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Newman; his sons, Michael and Greg Wheeler (Denise); his granddaughters, Lauren Bolden, Olivia and Sophie Wheeler; his nephews, Aaron, Jeff Wheeler and Roger Cole; and his niece Vicki King.
