She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hilst and Dora Hilst (Dryer); and her husband Kenneth Christians. She is survived by: her children, Eric Christians (Penny) of Taylorville, IL, Peggy Blesse (Charles) of Mt. Zion, IL and Gwen Dillow (Albert) of Rochester, IL; her grandchildren, Christine Wells (Darrick), Jonathon Christians, Carrie Zeigler (Bob), Kristen Nolen, Nathan Blesse (Shannon), Andrew Blesse, Joe Bartholomew (Lauren), Dr. Misty Phillips (Paul) and Jessica Sergent (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Madison Snyder (Issac), Carter Nolen, Bennett Nolen, Elena Blesse, Tristen Wells, Alex Wells, Chris Shoot, Lauren Phillips, Jackson Phillips, Peyton Phillips and Adam Mills.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (205 N Campbell St, Edinburg, IL 62531). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Township Cemetery.
