He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Bunger and Vivian Bunger (Ulferts); his wife Ruth Vandre; his children, Rosalie Krause (Thomas), Geoffry Bunger, Douglas Bunger (Sharon) and Christopher Bunger; his brother Robert Bunger (Nancy Hanson); his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bunger and Linda Bunger; and his siblings, Jerry, Henry Bunger and Judy Arjes. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Wayne's memory may be directed to the Frieda Pickering Fund of St. Paul Lutheran School.
