He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Ruth Brooks (Hoffman); his spouse Norma Jean Koeppel; his parent Walter Brooks; his daughter Kimberly Ann; his sister Joyce Givens; his children, Mic Brooks (Tracy) of Rochelle and Lynn Brooks Smith (Earl Kittle) of Creston; his grandchildren, Josh Smith (Sarah), Justin Smith (Andrea), Chad Brooks and Brooke Cox (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Tucker Wallace Smith, Polly Jo Smith and McKenzie Lynn Smith. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
