He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Ramos and Piedad Ramos; his siblings, Gregorio Ramos, Refugio Ramos, Amelia Ramos and Andrea Ramos; and his son-in-law Mel Flickinger.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Montelongo of Rochelle; his children, Jose Ramos (Colene Pottinger) of Hillcrest, Consuelo Flickinger of Venice, Victor Ramos (Jenny) of Hillcrest, Maria Shank (John) of Rochelle and Santiago Ramos, Jr. of Rochelle; his grandchildren, Cole Ramos, Jaimee Hinrichs (Cody), Olivia Ramos, Nicholas Flickinger (Rachel), Alex Flickinger (Katrina), Isaiah Ramos (Desiree), Sarah Elam (Alex), Jonathan Ritchie (Sara), Benjamin Shank (Morgan), Brady Shank and Ariana Ramos; and his siblings, Primitivo Ramos (Petra), Gonzalo Ramos (Josefina), Juliana Navejas (Alfredo), Feliciana Ramos, Abelina Gumercindo and Mary McCrea (Richard). He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Santiago's name to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
