She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lipske and Anna Lipske (Kosbab); her husband James Pest; and her siblings, Melvin Lipske and Esther Gitteson.

She is survived by: her children, David Pest (Paula) of Rochelle, Ruthann Pest of Loves Park, Janice Cook (Eugene) of Rochelle, Marsha Lochrie (Stephen) of Baxter, TN and Nadine Strawbridge (Craig) of Monroe, TN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
