It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Ellis of Rochelle, Illinois, born in Peru, Illinois, who passed away on November 28, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex and Mary; her husband Burt A. Ellis; her son Burt P. Ellis; her granddaughter Faith Ellis; and her brother Alex Mathey Jr. Robert Mathey.
She is survived by: her children, William "Bill" Ellis (Paula), Shari Sweeney-Sadowski (Tom) of Anna, IL, Timothy Ellis (Tony) and Tammy Dress (Ted) of Belleville, IL; and her sister-in-law Carol Mathey Vera Mathey. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren.
