She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Collins of Oregon, IL, Marian Cody (Gary) of Earlville, IL, Marie Schimanski (Michael) of Du Quoin, IL and Leather John Henkel of Dixon, IL; her close friend Jim Bolton of Rochelle; her grandchildren, Richard Collins of Malta, IL, Robert Collins of Sycamore, IL, Timothy Seibert (Steve Warren) of Chatham, IL, Philip, Daphney Schimanski of Du Quoin, IL, Benjamin Schimanski (Teressa King) of Melbourne, Brian Cody (Jamie) of Prairie Center, IL, Justin Cody (Ruth) of Washington, IL and Marjorie Simmons (Larry) of Yorkville, IL; her sisters, Helen Shirley (Dennis) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Patricia Cagle of Mt. Vernon, IL; her parents-in-law, Doris Leathers of Adams, WI and James Shreve of Wayne City, IL; and her great grandchildren, Emily Johnson, Sara, Riley Collins, Jesse McDicken, Makenzie Rose Simmons, Remmington Schimanski, Ty, Jax Henkel, Genna, Westin Cody, Mary, Jude, Augustine, Maximillian and Genevieve Rose Cody. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to covid restrictions, a private family funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 with Pastor Mark Nordman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hub City Senior Center, 401 Cherry Avenue, Rochelle, IL 61068.
