He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Steder and Pauline Steder (Schauer); and his siblings, Candace Steder and Jim Steder. He is survived by: his wife Karla Hansen Watson; his children, Candace Tuetken of New Port Richey, FL, Amanda Steder of Belvidere, IL, Mathew Steder (Amy) of Rochelle, IL and Brandon Watson (Jackie) of Sterling, IL; his brothers, Bill Steder (Teresa) of Elgin, IL and Bob Steder of West Brooklyn, IL; his sister-in-law Bonnie Steder of Rochelle; and his grandchildren, Tyler Tuetken, Gavin Rhoads, Madison Steder, Evelyn and Olivia Watson.
In lieu of flowers, Ron wished for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
