He is survived by: his wife Arline Thompson of Franklin Grove; his children, Alan Thompson (Sue) of Rockford, Karen Thompson (Brian O'Donnell) of Orlando, FL, Rick Meador (Carla) of Santan Valley, AZ, Jim Meador (Cecilia) of Rochelle, Phillip Meador (Barbara) of Rochelle, Carolyn Koontz (Steve) of Livingston, MT and Shirley Crenshaw (David) of Coeur D'Alene, ID; his brother Darrell Thompson (Judie) of Green Valley, AZ; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde Payne (Doris) of Las Vegas, Ann Thompson Brignon of Serena, IL, Velma Smith of Rochelle and Maxine Brown of Collinsville, IL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
