It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard F. Pelka of Rochelle, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl Pelka Turanski; his wife Marjorie E. Pelka (Marge); and his son Paul Thompson Pelka. He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Coleman; his son-in-law Lee; his son Richard Pelka; his daughter-in-law Sandy; his daughter Toni Pelka; his grandchildren, Jennifer Wunsch, Brian Coleman, Brittany Pelka, Jacob Pelka, Allison Pelka and Damon McKenzie; and his great grandchildren, Katy Wunsch, Dylan Coleman, Emma Coleman, Ryder Coleman and Ja'liyah McKenzie.
Richard Frank Pelka will be missed and forever remembered for his unwavering love of family, dedicated contributions to the church, and boundless generosity.
