The memory of Peggy Futrell of Rochelle, Illinois, who passed away on December 2, 2024 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harris and Mae Edds (Fugate); her son Richard Futrell; and her brothers, Joe and Paul Edds.
She is survived by: her husband David Allen Futrell of Rochelle; her daughter Cherie Hayes (David) of Steward, IL; her siblings, Tom Edds of Rose Hill, VA, Bill Edds (Janet) of Kingsport, TN, Virginia Pauley (Bill) of Rose Hill, VA and Betty Boehle (Jerry) of Rochelle; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Wyatt (Jeff), Kassidie Futrell (Zach Taylor), Kelsie Futrell, Lucas Hayes (Raynah) and Trevor Hayes (Bri Smith).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Peggy's memory to the Rochelle Christian Food Pantry.
