He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kurz and Grace Kurz (Schafer); his wife Barbara Ann Bunger; and his brother Harold Kurz. He is survived by: his sons, Richard Kurz of Lindenwood and Dennis Kurz (Katie) of Rockford; and his siblings-in-law, Lorenz Metzger of Davis Junction, Mary Bunger of Rochelle and Louise Kurz of Byron. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Orville Henry Kurz, 90, died Sunday, April 19, 2020, in Rockford from Covid-19.
