He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie V. Thuestad and Martha Thuestad (Askeland); his wife Norma M. Lee; and his sisters, Vivian Moen (Alvie), Mae Dell (Bob), Ruth Henderson (Wayne) and Caroline Thierfelder.
He is survived by: his children, Roger Thuestad (LaRonda) of Creston, Jim Thuestad (Betty) of Waterman, Sandy Petit (Alan) of Sycamore and Priscilla Thuestad of Creston; his grandchildren, Raymond Thuestad, Pat Juneau, Kathryn Thuestad, Tracy Carlson and Nicole Marchese; and his brother-in-law Erv Thierfelder. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
