She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Svela and Katie Svela (Meirath); her husband Richard Hickerson; her sons, David Hickerson and Roger Hickerson (Virginia); and her sisters, Ruth and Grace.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Bieck (Jon) of Oregon and Joanne Coan of Rochelle; her grandchildren, Marilyn Bucher, Debra Burkhart (Kim) and Stacy Leifheit (Brian); her great grandchildren, Meghan Alles (Chad) and Cierra McGinnis; and her great great grandchildren, Charlotte and Amelia Alles.
Masks are encouraged and social distancing guidelines should be followed.
Contributions in Olive's memory may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
