He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, Thomas Armstrong of Rochelle, Tim Armstrong (Kara) of Geneva, IL, Terry Armstrong (Ruth) of St. Charles, IL and Mark Armstrong (Larea) of Aurora, IL; and his sisters, Doris Adderholdt of Culpepper, VA and Margaret Cuthrell (Alan) of Hampton, VA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
