He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis W. Poliska and Louise Poliska (Bischoff); his sister Elaine Peters; and his grandson Brent Poliska. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Marie Detig; his children, Lynn Poliska (Kathy) of Rochelle, Lisa Hardy (Terry) of Davis Junction, IL, Brian Poliska (Laurie) of Ashton, Bruce Poliska (Pam) of Monroe Center, IL and Ann Wilt (Scott) of Cherry Valley, IL; and his grandchildren, Tina Allred (Kory), Kurt Poliska (Caitlin), Kelli Appenzeller (Les), Allen Hardy (Kelly), Nola Eatherton (Phil), Amber Bolander (Erik), Brenda Etchberger (Kris), Connie Bays (Jim), Laura King, Erik Zimmerman (Megan) and Stacy Zimmerman-Jones (Devon). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
