Luan B. Wine Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luan B. Wine of Rochelle, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luan B. Wine to pay them a last tribute.
As Luan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Luan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Luan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold H. Bown and Louise Bown (Provine); and her husband Jerry. She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki A. Wine (James E. Betts) of Rio and Nicki L. Como (Robert M.) of Berwyn, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Michael and Christina Como of Berwyn, Illinois. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews on Jerry's side, and several cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (1100 Calvin Rd, Rochelle, IL 61068). A reception was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
