He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr and Marilyn; his stepfather Elmer Rowley; his stepbrother Randy Rowley; his sister-in-law Cheryl; and his parents-in-law, John Herrmann and Arlene Herrmann.
He is survived by: his wife Andrea Fletcher (Herrmann) of Rochelle; his children, Shawn Vachet (Jamie), Jennifer Devers Fletcher, Julie Slack (Chad) and Jamie Fletcher; his grandchildren, Savannah Fletcher (Josh), Susan King (Jason), John, Max, Sterling, Storm, Nicholas, Payton, Ronald, Emma, Kris, Konner, Kayden, Keller, Keegan and Kolton; his great grandchildren, Matilda, Ayva and Elliot; his siblings, Virginia Terviel (Al), Fred Fletcher (Pat), Al Ankney, Dusty Ankney (Anne) and Galen Ankney (Lisa); his siblings-in-law, Duane Herrmann (Phyllis), Richard Herrmann (Sue) and Kathi Lieving (Paul); his stepsisters, Connie, Bonnie and Becky; and his sister-in-law Lois.
