It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Woksa (Rochelle, Illinois), born in Whittemore, Iowa, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bisenius and Lydia Bisenius (Eisele); and her siblings, Luella Lenhart Hoft, Maxine Connor, Bonnie Kavanaugh and Clem Bisenius.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Woksa of Rochelle; and her children, Patricia Cawley (Chuck) of Rochelle, Maryanne Patrick (Mark) of Gilbert, AZ, Marshall Woksa (Debbie) of Nashville, Ed Woksa (Tammy) of Roscoe, IL and Paula Koziol (Jon) of Rochelle. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan's name may be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
