It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Eugene Reints (Rochelle, Illinois), who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Rients and Frances Rients (Terviel). He is survived by: his wife Margie L. Turner; his children, Jim Reints (Kathy), Jeana Valdivieso (Xavier) and Randy Reints (Karen); his grandchildren, Josh Valdivieso, Ben Valdivieso (Megan), Gabe Valdivieso (Larissa), Eli Valdivieso (Alison), Tyler Reints (Madison), Justin Reints and Shelby Pinedo (Ulysses); and his brother Chas Reints. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Unger Horner Funeral Home (400 N 6th St, Rochelle, IL 61068). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the New Hope Fellowship Church (1501 10th Ave, Rochelle, IL 61068).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Serenity Hospice and Home.
